1. How do I get my web site transferred to Budget Web Builders ?

Transferring your web site can be a complicated move. Budget Web Builders will do all the work. All you will have to do is cancel your current hosting plan and complete a DNS change with your domain registrar. You can usually change domain name servers by using the online management system provided by your registrar. If you don't know who your registrar is, it is likely your hosting company registered it on your behalf. A simple email telling them to change it will do the trick. Once you have changed your name servers, it will take up to 48 hours for your domain to fully propagate throughout the internet. For example your web site's DNS are something like
ns1.yourhostname.net
ns2.yourhostname.net
you will need to change them to:
ns1.budgetwebbuilders.com
ns2.budgetwebbuilders.com

2. Do you offer internet access in the Mini-Cassia area?
We currently do not offer internet access to the Mini-Cassia area, but the area is #1
on our list to expand to.



 
3. Are you an internet access reseller?
Yes. We are currently using Qwest's network as our backbone provider.
Which means less overhead for us and lower prices for you!




4. Do you offer internet access outside Idaho?
Yes. We currently offer internet access in every state, in more that 2000 areas.

5. Do you offer virus or spam protection on your email services?
All of our e mail servers are protected by anti virus sofware and we can activate a spam blocker on your account.




6. Do you offer filtered internet access to protect children?
Yes, we have a server side filter that filters viruses, porn, and junk/spam e mails. Our filtered access is only $14.95  a month!




7. I live outside of America. Can I still host my web site on Budget Web Builders ?
Yes ! The wonderful thing about the internet is that it is a global community.

 

 

8. How does the billing process work ?
To make it easier for our customers we simply send out a monthly invoice. We accept checks and  money orders. You can use a credit card by using our PAYPAL service. On our design packages we require half down upon signing and the rest due upon completion of the job.

We accept checks and  money orders by mail and credit cards using our PAYPAL service.

Yes! Simply e mail us and we will set up Front Page extensions for you.

Yes! You can use our Budget Registration Service to search for available names and register the name you want for $24.95 a year or $39.90 for 2 years !

14. Can I pay by check or money order ?
Yes ! We would be happy to accept your mail payments by using a personnel check or money order.

15. How do I check and see if the domain name I want is taken ?
Go to our Registration page and follow the 3 easy steps.

16. How do I transfer files to my site ?
You will need a FTP program such as ws_ftple which you can download a free version from our Downloads page. Once you have the program installed you will need to "add a web site". Simply fill in the setting to access your page. You will need to add: ftp.yourname.com as the ftp host address, your username and password, and use "21" as the connection port and log in as "Normal".

17. Do you offer e mail accounts ?
Yes, we offer 5 POP & IMAP e mail accounts free with dial-up accounts & 10-40 e mail accounts with our hosting packages.

18. Do you offer e-commerce or shopping cart programs ?
We can set up e commerce applications such as: shopping carts, databases, merchant accounts, and SSL Certificates. If you plan on accepting credit cards you will need to purchase a merchant account and a SSL certificate. Go to our Hosting page for prices and options.

19. Who owns the domain name if I purchased it through you ?
You will be the owner of all Domain Names you register on our web site. Keeping you in charge of it's destiny.

20. Where can I download an FTP program ?
You can download the free version of ws_ftple from our Downloads page.

21. How can I pay for my hosting account if I do not have a credit card ?
Simply choose which Hosting package will best suite your needs and fill out the "Order Now" form. After we contact you and have your web site on our server we will simply start sending you a bill every month ! No long contracts, cancel at any time !

22. Do you offer search engine submissions ?
Yes ! Go to our promotion page. We can submit your site to the top 20 search engines for only $29.95
